Rachel Reeves MP talks Women of Westminster with POLIS students

Rachel Reeves, MP for Leeds West and Shadow Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, delivered an exclusive online talk for POLIS students last week.

Presenting her latest book Women of Westminster, Rachel discussed how the role and work of women MPs has changed over decades, since the first woman MP was elected and took her seat in Parliament a century ago.

More than 50 students joined the MP online on Thursday 8th October, engaging in a Q&A session with thoughtful questions. The event was chaired by CDE co-director Cristina Leston Bandeira.
