Dr Alexandra Meakin presents her research to the History of Parliament group

CDE member Dr Alexandra Meakin has been invited to present her research on the Restoration and Renewal of the Palace of Westminster to the Parliaments, Politics and People seminar series organised by The History of Parliament. Dr Meakin’s paper sets out five themes from the history of the Palace which can help to explain decisions made about its future, helping to increase our understanding of this symbol of UK national identity and key part of our parliamentary democracy.
