CDE PhD Student launches podcast to kick start conversations about democracy with children

Miranda Duffy, a PhD student at the Centre for Democratic Engagement, has launched a podcast, DEN of ENQUIRY, as part of her studies. The podcast uses poetry to kick-start conversations about democracy and the rule of law for 9+year olds and their adults. This is freely available. Do join Miranda and her kids in their den as they make sense of democratic ideas through an original poem. Each episode lasts about 15minutes and explores questions such as 'why is Big Ben important as a symbol of democracy?' and 'what is individual liberty if I have to go to school?'
