Virtual Citizen Discussion on Climate Change Policies in the North

Date
Date
Thursday 14 October 2021, 7-8pm

Are you a citizen from Leeds, Bradford, or Hull? Are you 16 years or older? Do you have some ideas about how your city can make progress with decarbonisation? Would you like to get involved in a constructive and structured deliberation on climate change policies in the North with your fellow citizens, supportive experts, and city council members? Then this event is for you!

During the Leeds Climate Action Week, Centre for Democratic Engagement members Viktoria Spaiser and Nicole Nisbett are offering two sessions introducing the newly launched Virtual Citizen Discussion on Climate Change Policies in North platform to showcase how citizens can get involved in a new form of collective decision making on local climate change policies. The second one will take place the 14th October, 7-8pm (see the 11th October 12-1pm alternative, if you can't make the 14th).
